After nearly two decades of marriage, reports suggest that Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban are experiencing a period of separation. Multiple sources indicate that the couple, who tied the knot in Sydney back in June 2006, have been living apart since June of this year.
A source close to the situation confided in the New York Post, suggesting that the relationship may have simply reached its natural conclusion. "Sometimes relationships just run their course," the source stated.
TMZ initially reported that Urban has relocated from the couple's shared residence in Nashville. Despite the apparent distance, People magazine claims Kidman is actively working to salvage the marriage. An unnamed source revealed, "She didn't want this. She has been fighting to save the marriage."
